CBI structural department has carried out the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures for a wide variety of commercial, institutional and resort developments and for civil projects including water supply and effluent disposal schemes.
A large number of the commercial structures were designed in conjunction with CBI architectural division. Such projects have included hotels, resort developments, multi-storey office blocks, shopping centres and institutional projects including teachers training colleges and hostels and associated facilities.
Structures designed for CBI civil projects have included reservoirs, pumpstations, elevated water towers and effluent and water treatment units including filters, clarifiers, activated sludge tanks and sludge digestors. All such structures have been designed in accordance with codes of practice and procedures for water retaining structures.
